Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the emergency mold remediation and infrastructure repairs at Ernestine's have been completed.

When we shared that our shelter was facing significant damage following a flood, your response was immediate and inspiring. Your donations, encouragement, and advocacy helped ensure that Ernestine's could complete the critical repairs needed to continue providing a safe, welcoming space for individuals and children fleeing violence.

Because of your support, families can once again find safety, healing, and hope within our walls.

We are deeply grateful to the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, every donor, partner, volunteer, and supporter who stood with us during this challenging time. Your compassion made it possible for us to protect our shelter and continue delivering the life-changing programs and services that individuals and families rely on every day.

While this emergency has passed, the need for Ernestine's has not. Every day, individuals turn to us for emergency shelter, crisis counselling, housing and legal advocacy, child and youth programs, and long-term community support.
