Representatives from Ernestine's are available to speak to your group about violence against women and children.

Raising awareness is important to:

• Help women and children know what resources are available to them and how to access them;
• Provide the community with more information on the issue of violence against women and children and how they can help;
• Break the silence that is often associated with experiencing violence - helping those in abusive situations know they are not alone;
• Change social attitudes around violence in working toward ending it together; and
• Understanding the connections between all forms of violence;
