Ernestine's is collectively managed by shared leadership and is a participatory organization accountable to our Board of Directors and Stakeholders. This cooperative structure ensures each member has equal input and stake in the running of the facility, while allowing for maximum responsiveness to clients and proper communication and operation of the shelter. Ernestine's employs full time, part time, contract and relief staff who bring a wealth of skills and expertise to the organization.

Ernestine's is fortunate to have a dedicated and hard working Board of Directors, which is made up entirely of volunteers who generously give their time and strategic guidance. The Board ensures responsible governance of the organization.
